Radio personality and Television Host Starr Session has made her mark in the LA Music Scene as a much sought after Live Event Host. This sharp, sassy, bohemian rock star personality can be seen hosting events at such LA “Hotspots” as The Grand and The Key Club.   You also may have heard her hit radio show “Starr Double RR” on Adelphia television, reviewing movies and covering celebrity/fashion events.

 

As a senior at California State University Starr balances being a Broadcast Journalism Major with her duties as an anchor on LA36, which begins to air this fall.

 

Born on the North East Island of Manhattan and bred in the South in Charlotte N.C. Starr grew up with a passion for music that fueled her career as a dancer.

 

Starr grew up dancing and was always the spokesperson for her team. From the ages of 8 to 15, Starr hosted the showstoppers American dance championship. At 15 she was accepted to the prestigious North Carolina School of Arts. Her desire to be well rounded

transferred her after one short year to New York City where she attended the famed High school of Performing Arts, LaGuardia.

 

 Her dance travels brought her to the likes of recording artist like Kelis, Will Smith and

 Jay Z.  She has traveled to Japan to teach intensive workshops. Also in Japan she choreographed the opening number for the first ever released women’s line; Oakley Fashion show.

 

She currently resides in Los Angeles, California and promotes awareness of equality for all people. Starr hopes to make a difference as an educated African American female.
