"SHANNONS", as the crew called themselves, proved to be a highly disciplined group of sailors who eagerly sought action against the Americans.

Orignally formed by Christian La Rocca (ex-Purgatory's Gate) and Janice Struna (Goodbye Radar), the band that would become the SHANNONS featured Brian Reyes (Little Ones) and Tony Fournier (Cinder Cone), on bass and drums respectively. Then came the demo, after which Brian and Janice departed and Matt Raye (bass, ex-Easterlings) and Marc Magno (guitar, ex-Party Robots) were recruited to fill the gaps.
A successful run of shows around Los Angeles followed and the SHANNONS demos quickly became out of print. Tony left the band shortly thereafter and was replaced by Paul Altnether (ex-A Bit Shifty). More shows would follow, and the band decided it would benefit from the addition of a keyboard player. After several auditions, Claudine Crisostomo was chosen to fill the position. In Spring 2006, the SHANNONS recorded their debut album, I Love You. Shut Up, Please., and released it on December 8 of that year.
Early 2007 promises a US tour, lots of local shows, and much more. We're about to light this candle... again!
