History of Devotion Car & Truck Club
Sacramento, CA
Devotion Car & Truck Club was founded in Sacramento, Ca in the winter of 1996. The club was started with only four original members. Roberto, Hector, Santiago Trevino, which are all brothers and a family friend David Hernandez. We felt that there were plenty of car clubs but not enough truck clubs. So we made sure to place some focus on the trucks considering three of the original members had pick-ups.
We believe by creating a unique and organized car club that we are able to change the views that the public has about lowriding thru positive social interaction. Our club is very diverse we never discriminate against anyone no matter what their background may be. We held our very first annual car show in the spring of 1998 at the corner of Franklin Blvd and 47th Ave with Acme Tops & Tunes as one of our first sponsors. Our main focus at all of our car shows has been to present a family friendly atmosphere, where people would feel comfortable bringing the entire family. We have enjoyed great success throughout the years at all of our shows with the support of our community, local car clubs and our wonderful sponsors.
Devotion Car Club also gives back to the community by hosting an annual toy drive then donating all the proceeds to various charitable organizations. We are presently working on our 9th Annual Car Show to be held at Consumnes River College, July 16 2006 and we look forward to seeing everyone there. We would also like to extend a special thanks to all of our club members past & present for all their hard work & dedication.
