About Me

Bernel is currently serving a video and broadcast equipment company since 2004. He collaborates and acts as the technical adviser to the system integration team. System integration includes building TV stations, graphics bay, master control rooms, video trucks for clients such Warner Brothers, NBC and Paramount Pictures. Previously, he served as System Support Engineer to SONY broadcast group with contract services and support with DirecTV Latin America division. He supported an all digital facility that broadcast 24/7 to South America. Prior to Sony, Bernel work with two post-house and post-productions companies in the 90s where he wet his feet into broadcast field. Bernel received his A.S. in Electronics Technology from Los Angeles Valley College and B.S. in Technology Management in DeVry University in Long Beach.

Bernel's New Bio: Bernel has recently joined Broadcast Integration Department at a video and broadcast equipment Sale,Service and Integration. His new responsibilies include:

Job Responsibilities:
• Design of video, audio, control, LAN and communication subsystems, including preparation of CAD drawings and documentation
• Design of building layouts, floor plans, rack elevations, consoles, etc. utilizing CAD or in a manner suitable for submission to drafting
• Design of both standard definition and high definition video systems and their associated audio systems
• Provide equipment and technology research and coordination with vendors
• Prepare project engineering deliverables
• Conduct or take part in the drawing review processes
• Assist in the final testing of project
• Perform client training as required
• Liaison with in-house resources such as purchasing, service, metal shop and manufacturing to insure adherence to project and in house engineering standards
• Supervise additional engineering staff who may be assigned to project
• Assist sales department in client visits, presentations and in the preparation of roposals
• Maintain high level of personal expertise in current and future technology
• Maintain high level of expertise in computer skills including CAD implementation
• Assist in the creation and monitoring of company technical standards and procedures
• Insure client satisfaction at all times
