ha! I've lived in Phx for about 13 yrs., I've left it twice, most of last year in colombus, and a few months in SD earlier this year....I ALWAYS end up coming back:) What part of phx were you from?

There was a long-running theory between myself and several friends of mine out there that you never actually leave Phoenix, you just go away for a few years and come back. So far, I hold the record amongst the people I know - having just passed the 9 year mark. I guess you'd have been like 11 or 12 ;)

I lived mostly in the PV area. A little in Scottsdale sometimes. The last place I lived in was, I think, Sunnyslope area. Like Greenwayy & 7th st. Uber-Ghetto.

i've actually discussed that exact theory with several people.....it's the damn truth! Yeah, i would have been the big eleven:) when you left phx. ha! I actually live off of central and bell right now... right around the corner from 7th and greenway:)

hahaa. If you're diggin' it out there - then more power to ya. For me, it was just too boring and friggin' hot. Though, that place made me who I am, so I guess I owe it some credit. Lot of creative motherfuckers out there, cause there's rarely anything to do. As the old Phoenix saying went..

i have a love/hate relationship with phoenix....I love the tattoo shop i work at and the boys i work with(my family) they're what really keeps me here, and I hate mostly everything else:).... and those are definitely your three choices in phx:)....the last 2, for sure.:)ha!

That's Phoenix. The place is a shithole - but conversely (and probably because of that) the people are fuckin' badass.

I did all 3 myself. I wasn't meant for music, but... it's Phoenix ;)
I do stand-up comedy now. haha.

Sounds like it. I've had a few friends with that job description - they're always ecstatic about it. And no dress code! w00t! heh. I'll have to stop by next time I'm in Phoenix.
