So I got off my ass last night and cleared out one of my bedrooms. I'm going to turn this into my mini-studio. Until now, I've had to go to the basement and rig shit to get my lighting where it needed to be...it really sucked- plus it's cold down there. So now I have a nice room with a hard wood floor and a big window to let in natural light when I want.  I'm pretty excited about the whole thing. I need to buy some tables and more lights, but you never seem to have everything you need.

So I've had a rash of ideas pouring into my brain about photos over the last couple of days. So I went out and got a notebook specifically for keeping track of 'em.  I'm hoping this will me in the long run.  I should have some more photos up this weekend...I was told one of my next few will be my most controversial yet. I may take a little extra time to make sure it comes out right before I post it.

So I've mentioned this before on MySpace, but hey.  I have a friend out in Oregon who started up a production company with his future ex-wife named 531 Productions. The plan is to get my shit together and move out there next year and make movies with him. By then he should be doing full length feature films in addition to the shorts. I have 0 experience in film making...but I need to start doing something that I enjoy. So I'm heading out there in August for their wedding and I plan on taking a few extra days to look around and see what the job market is like.  Hopefully... continue reading "The Oregon Trail"
